title: Advent (15)
rating: G
word count: 123
summary: house rules: you have to kiss someone if you end up under the mistletoe together! hijinks ensue. (Nikos/Mariel)
notes: the fifteenth of twenty five kisses under the mistletoe at a Christmas party Nikos is hosting
"No fair," grumbled Mariel. She might have crossed her arms, were her hands not full.
"Spoilsport," retorted Nikos. "Everyone else has, even Abel and Glory."
Mariel smiled a little at that. "Everyone else has been drinking," she countered.
"And whose fault is that?" asked Nikos, raising an eyebrow.
"Touché." Mariel sighed and let Nikos place a quick peck on her cheek.
He grinned at her, "What, it can't have been that bad. What were you expecting?" Mariel shrugged. "Have I ever been unchivalrous before?"
"There was that one time…" she said.
"That's unfair. I thought you were a man and I didn't know you were married." Nikos frowned, and Mariel held a hand up for peace.
"Merry Christmas, Mr Vallas."
"Merry Christmas, Mariel."
